This rewarding position offers a base pay of $20.40 per hour and a shift premium for overnight work.Ndinawe is seeking dedicated Youth Care/Support Workers focused on creating protected environments for youth. Your role includes acting as a positive role model while encouraging independent living skills. Candidates should possess experience in community work, particularly within Indigenous settings, to effectively advocate and provide resources for youth in need.Key Responsibilities:- Provide supervision to ensure a safe space for youth- Act as a mentor for independent living skills development- Complete necessary referrals and offer resource information- Maintain a clean and healthy environment for participants- Document all necessary logbook entries and incident reportsRequirements:- Preferred education in Child and Youth Care field- Experience in Indigenous community settings- Understanding of trauma-informed approaches- CPR/First Aid certification required- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License neededEmbrace an impactful role supporting urban Indigenous youth while promoting wellness and independence.#J-18808-Ljbffr
