Description

- Take a leadership role in promoting product quality, employeedevelopment,and cost reduction initiatives.
- Supervise the materials production area, scheduling,logistics/ customerserviceand inventory control functions, ensuring that materials and services areprocuredin a timely mannerat the lowest possible prices withoutimpactingquality, performance, or customer service.
- Implement andmaintaineffective controls for all areas of responsibility.
- Provideslong-termproduction and inventory plans that ensureoptimalutilizationof capacity and assets.
- Establishandmaintaineffective internal and external customer relationships
- Identifyand implement cost reduction/ avoidance opportunities.
- Manage the flow of raw packaging materials and supplies coming into the facility and the processes and systems to efficiently manage the material flow.
- Manage departmental expenses to meetbudget. Work with departmentemployeeto create cost reduction projects.
- Establish and maintain 5S system. Work with supervisors and hourly employees to ensure plant housekeeping meets orexceedsstandards.

- Demonstratedability to prioritize and organizeobjectivesand targets to meet deadlines.
