OverviewVoyago and East Ferris Bus Lines are recruiting School Bus Drivers in Simcoe, Hanover, Kingston, Ottawa and North Bay as part of the Student Transportation division.ResponsibilitiesSafely transport students within your community to and from school, ensuring a reliable and positive experience each day.Prioritize student safety at all times, including during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle.Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections to ensure the bus remains in proper and safe operating condition.Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bus, including assisting with fueling and basic upkeep to present a well‑kept, professional vehicle.Accurately complete daily Hours of Service reports and maintain required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.Immediately report any mechanical issues or concerns affecting the safe operation of the vehicle.Address and report any student behaviour issues in a timely and professional manner, following company procedures.Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with safety practices, policies, and regulations.Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and care while fostering a protected and respectful environment for all passengers.Work the required split shifts of 4‑5 hours total (approximately 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon)



during weekdays.RequirementsYou are safety‑focused.You hold a valid minimum full Ontario G‑class driver's license; preference will be given to B class drivers.You are 21 years of age or over.You possess a clean driving record and a criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening.You have a sound knowledge of the locations in this posting.You have the ability to work independently.You are available for the required split shifts Monday‑Friday between 6:30 am‑9:30 am and 1:30 pm‑5:00 pm.You possess solid communication skills and must be fluent in English.
