We are looking for a highly self-motivated professional with exceptional working knowledge of group insurance/employer-sponsored benefit programs. This position, working collaboratively with the Manager of Finance and Administration, is responsible for overseeing, supporting, and assisting the Client Services team.Reports to: Manager, Finance and AdministrationCore CompetenciesAlignment with our Mission, Vision & ValuesOur Mission - We anticipate our members’ health and wellness needs, and provide a robust employee benefits plan that exceeds their expectations and protects them from life’s uncertainties.Our Vision - The long-term well-being of our plan members is protected and enhanced through their relationships at the Trust.Responsibilities and ExpectationsAssists in the development and updating of client services policies and proceduresSupports the Client Services team providing guidance and mentorship to other team members, as applicableOversee/coordinate new group setup, amendments to existing groups, and group terminationsInvestigates concerns, interprets policies/procedures, provides information and problem solves, as applicableResponds to and addresses client enquiries of escalating complexity from employees and plan administratorsCoordinate the execution of department wide weekly/monthly/annual projects including but not limited to:Disability managementHour Bank administrationHSA reallocationsElectronic data transmission reconciliationSupports design, development and executes projects, as applicableEstablish and maintain close relationships with existing clientsTroubleshoot electronic systems interfaceUndertakes other related client services duties as requiredThrough interrelationshipComprehensive working knowledge of group insurance/employer-sponsored benefit programsAbility to understand and interpret industry and organizational policies and proceduresAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word,



Excel and Outlook)Demonstrated ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanorStrong organizational, problem-solving and prioritization skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to collaborate in a team environmentProven superior communication and client service skillsManagement, supervisory and mentorship skillsIdeal Education & ExperienceMinimum of 5 years’ experience in the group insurance/employer-sponsored benefit programs industryExcellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills when corresponding with internal and external clientsAbility to manage multiple tasks while ensuring high attention to detail and accuracy of work within a specified periodAbove average time management and organizational skillsStrong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated resourcefulness when solving issues or problemsUnderstanding of administration systems, databases and ability to adapt quickly to different systems in a dynamic environmentGroup Advantages Associate (GBA) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation or working towards is considered an asset.Objectives & Success IndicatorsConsistency - We deliver what we promise.
