You will work as a member of the inter‑professional team and be responsible for collecting and analyzing biological specimens, conducting X-ray examinations, ECGs and reporting results. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X‑ray Technologists (ACCLXT).Additional Required Qualifications:Required to take call and live within 30 minutes of the facility when on call. Recent experience as a CLXT performing procedures in a core laboratory and general diagnostic imaging, including hospital affiliated training programs. Laboratory experience includes hematology, expanded chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, specimen collection, preparation and referral.

Ability to work independently and promote good teamwork, under pressure and in emergency situations. Recent cardiology experience including ECG and Holter Monitor. Demonstrated initiative, good judgment, and attention to detail. Ability to demonstrate tact and courtesy in dealing with patients, staff, and physicians. Practices effective radiation protection, infection control, and safety techniques as applicable. Proficient computer skills. Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification. Ability to adapt and be receptive to new ideas and change. Demonstrated desire and actions to further own knowledge relating to profession. Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and adapt to stressful situations using tact and diplomacy.
