Workplace Wellness Consultant, Client Experience Full-Time, Permanent

Position Summary The Workplace Wellness Consultant is a member of ASEBP’s Client Services team within the Client Experience department. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the consultant builds trusted relationships with employer leaders, school leaders, wellness leads, and workplace wellness partners.

Using a consultative, evidence-informed, and data-driven approach, the consultant works with employers to understand their needs, identify priorities, interpret relevant information, and recommend tailored workplace wellness strategies, campaigns, resources, and supports. The consultant connects employers with ASEBP services and external expertise, facilitates meaningful wellness conversations, and supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives that strengthen workplace well-being and demonstrate measurable value.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Use a consultative approach to understand employer needs, challenges, priorities, and readiness and recommend tailored workplace wellness strategies, campaigns, resources, and supports.
- Analyze and interpret employer, covered member, engagement, survey, and utilization information to identify trends, develop insights, and inform recommendations.
- Collaborate with employer leaders and other workplace wellness influencers to develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-informed programs, policies, strategies, and campaigns.
- Translate research, data, and employer feedback into clear, practical recommendations and actions.
- Establish intended outcomes and measures of success, monitor results, and contribute to reports that demonstrate the value and impact of workplace wellness initiatives.




- Work collaboratively across ASEBP to connect workplace wellness strategies with relevant benefits, services, campaigns, and internal expertise.
- Identify, assess, and cultivate strategic partnerships and external resources that address gaps and provide value to employers.
- Develop and facilitate presentations, workshops, consultations, and learning sessions for diverse audiences.
- Develop, maintain, promote, and evaluate ASEBP’s workplace wellness resources and tools, including resources available through ASEBP’s wellness site.
- Conduct research and environmental scans to identify emerging issues, evidence-informed practices, and opportunities relevant to workplace wellness in the public education sector.
- Communicate complex health-promotion and data-informed insights clearly through presentations, reports, recommendations, and other appropriate channels.
- Represent ASEBP at external events and support opportunities to expand ASEBP’s reach and reputation as a trusted workplace wellness partner.

Your Education And Experience

- University degree in a related field.
- A master’s degree in public health, health promotion, social services, or other health-related fields is considered an asset.
- A minimum of 5 years’ related work experience in employee mental health or health promotion.
- French language fluency is considered an asset.

A combination of education and experience may be considered.

- Experience developing or contributing to coordinated campaigns and engagement strategies.
- Ability to connect multiple programs, services, resources, and partners into a cohesive employer solution.
- Sound judgment and the ability to balance employer needs, evidence, organizational priorities, capacity, and available resources.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and with external partners.
- Ability to communicate complex information in plain language for leadership, human resources, wellness, and employee audiences.

Unique Working Conditions You will be working with clients across the province, so regular travel throughout Alberta is required in this role.
