WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN

At McRae’s Auto Electric, we specialize in heavy-duty electrical systems and components for mobile equipment. We’re looking for a skilled, detail-oriented technician to join our Elkford shop and build electrical components and wiring systems to a high standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Rebuild starters, alternators, DC motors and other automotive electrical components
- Manufacture custom electrical systems and components
- Build custom electrical harnesses and cables
- Assist with shipping, receiving and general workshop duties




- Provide customer support in our shop and at customer sites

QUALIFICATIONS

- Mechanical or equivalent trade certificate
- 3–5 years of mechanical workshop experience
- Experience rebuilding mechanical or electrical components is highly valued
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and specifications
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Physically able to perform general workshop tasks
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Red Seal certification is an asset
