Become a Youth Engagement and Education Coordinator with Skills for Change, focusing on environmental education and youth outreach. Inspire and involve youth in sustainability initiatives through workshops and events.
This eight-week contract requires 35 hours weekly, offering flexibility with some evening or weekend hours.
Your role will involve recruiting youth, developing sustainability-focused educational content, and co-leading workshops. Engage young people actively and support community efforts that promote positive change.
Key Responsibilities: Support recruitment of diverse youth and mentors Develop educational resources focused on sustainability Co-present and lead engaging workshop activities Create and distribute bi-weekly newsletters Aid in organizing community events to enhance youth engagement Requirements: Candidates aged 15 to 30 are eligible Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident Valid Social Insurance Number is essential Police Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to start No work permits or visas accepted Lead youth engagement efforts aimed at sustainability with Skills for Change and make an impactful difference.
