Licensed Practical Nurse - Renal DialysisWe have an exciting chance in our program for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within the Alberta Kidney Care – North (AKC-N) program. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the LPN is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Decisions are made in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The LPN provides patient and family centred care to acute and chronic renal failure patient populations. The LPN practices nursing care according to the Hemodialysis Nursing Specialty Scope of Practice, regulating body, clinical policies, and nursing standards. Must complete Hemodialysis Training in Edmonton or Red Deer (intensive 4‑week full‑time schedule, 2 additional weeks of buddy shifts, 80% pass on final exam, and satisfactory clinical performance).
