Description
The Senior Accounting Specialistis responsible foroverseeingday-to-dayaccounting operations and ensuringaccuratefinancial records across multiple legal entities. This role requires adetail-orientedprofessional with stronghands-onbookkeeping experience,advancedexcel skills (i.e. Power Query,pivottables, macrosetc.),the ability to manage competing priorities, and a solid understanding ofmulti-entityaccountingandperiodendclose processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintainaccurateandup-to-datefinancial records across multiple entities, ensuring proper segregation, consistency, and integrity while processinghigh volume dailytransactions.
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including:
- Bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Related party reconciliations.
- Journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
- Support month‑end and year‑end close processes across all entities.
- Prepare and review intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable regulations.
- Assistwith financial reporting, including internal management reports.
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors asrequired.
- Identifyprocess improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.
- Respond to finance‑related inquiries from internal stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Professional accounting designation or progress toward one is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple legal entities.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
- Proficiencywith accounting software (e.g., Quick Books or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills and robust attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- $70,000 – $85,000Annual Compensation.
