Our Calgary based client is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Personnel Administration and Time Management Consultant to join their project in August 2026 and will run until the end of December 2026, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in HR and Payroll modules, with strong expertise in Canadian and US payroll, time management, advantages, pension administration, HR compliance, and S/4HANA optimization. This will be a fully remote work setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central within an SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud environment, preparing for upcoming project rollouts.
- Serve as the senior functional expert for SAP S/4HANA HR and Payroll, with specialized focus on Canadian and US payroll, time management, benefits, pension administration, HR compliance, and system optimization.




- Configure and manage complex payroll rules, wage types, and time quota conversions, including leave entitlement calculations.
- Support HR operations for unionized workforces, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
- Coordinate and oversee offshore development and testing teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of system enhancements and fixes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align HR systems with broader S/4HANA optimization initiatives and private cloud architecture.
