You excel at prioritisation, keep deadlines on track, and lead teams towards common goals. This posting is for an existing vacancy within our organisation.BenefitsCompetitive salaryFlexible hours and half‑day Fridays (all year round)Comprehensive Group Health Benefits Program, including a Health Spending AccountGroup Retirement Savings Plan (Employer and Employee Contributions)Employee Share Ownership Program (ESOP)Purchase Time Off ProgramTransit Subsidy ProgramWide variety of community and social eventsWhat You’ll DoDevelop and review system engineering concepts (e.G., design brief) and concept reports in collaboration with the Principal‑in‑Charge.Perform or arrange for reviews of existing installations and interpret impacts on the project.Prepare all calculations and equipment selections; assign tasks to designers and CAD technicians as needed.Understand and communicate relevant Codes and Standards to all project stakeholders.Coordinate internal and external documentation (architect, interior designer,



other disciplines).Recommend or apply appropriate project procurement methodologies.Review deliverables (reports, calculations, drawings, specifications) for completeness and accuracy.Promote and enforce company standards relating to project administration, documentation, and quality management.Act as contract administrator for designated projects, ensuring timely completion of contract activities.Ensure the shop drawing review process complies with project timelines.Coordinate drawing reviews and contract administration with the relevant teams.Prepare and review change notices issued by contract administration.Ensure tasks are completed accurately and within assigned hours/fees.Respond to technical and financial queries related to the project.Keep principals advised of scope changes and prepare contract amendments (e.G., RAF).Support accounts receivable processes.Ensure internal project team discipline coordination is complete.Prepare and monitor a schedule of tasks with required hours and critical data.Liaise with external consultants and vendors for smooth delivery.Organise and attend client meetings and deliver presentations.Who You AreFive or more years of project engineering experience in mechanical building services.P.Eng. licence or able to qualify within one year.Senior C.E.T. with equivalent experience and abilities.Direct experience with Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks Manage,



and Dynamo.Knowledge of the British Columbia Building Code, Plumbing Code and Energy Step Code.Experience with High‑Rise Tower construction in British Columbia is a plus.Advanced working knowledge of provincial building codes, ASHRAE, CSA and NFPA standards.Strong leadership qualities and ability to work independently.Ability to work in a complex setting with multiple projects and clients.Sound communication skills for client and staff relations.Experience coordinating major projects with consulting and contracting teams.Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.LEED certification or experience implementing sustainable design is an asset.Solid knowledge of engineering concepts, methods and standards.Demonstrated initiative and practical problem solving.Nice to HaveLEED certification or experience implementing sustainable design.AccommodationAppropriate accommodations will be provided to candidates upon request throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
