Success will be achieved through a combination of:expanding existing client relationshipsattracting new clientsexpanding into recent marketsadding new service linesacquiring other renovation companiesByng’s ongoing success will depend on scaling up operations while continuing to deliver the best service in the multi‑family industry. In support of this effort, Byng must maintain world‑class tech‑enabled processes and infrastructure to support operations and fuel growth. This includes flawless management of logistics and end‑to‑end supply chain. Furthermore, Byng must invest in nurturing positive client relationships and listening carefully to feedback to ensure client needs are met.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Senior Financial Analyst will play a lead role in Byng’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis to provide actionable insights for operations and strategic decision‑making.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the preparation of company's annual budgetsCreate and manage complex, multisource financial models using Power BI, Power Query for budgeting, forecasting,
and scenario analysis to predict future financial performanceAnalyze financial data to identify trends, assess performance, and pinpoint areas for improvement, efficiency, and cost optimizationMonitor financial performance against budget and forecast, conducting variance analyses and providing insights to guide strategic adjustmentsPrepare monthly management reporting packages with clear variance analysis and insightful financial reports for senior leadership, executive teams and the board of directorsMonitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) that track financial health and strategic progressCollaborate with senior leadership to help develop and assess business cases for strategic initiatives and investments, including assessing their financial impactMonitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to support strategic decision‑makingDesired Skills and ExperienceMinimum 2‑3 years of work experience as a Financial Data AnalystBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related fieldExperience in construction industry, and multifamily residential renovationsExperience with budgeting and forecasting activitiesExperience in building complex financial modelsStrong understanding of financial accountingStrong ERP Skills/KnowledgeProficient in Power BI, including expert‑level knowledge of DAX and M code for complex data modeling and transformationsStrong command of Power Query for data extraction and cleaningWorking knowledge of NetSuite for financial and operational data integrationAdvanced Excel skillsProven ability to collaborate with and present to project managers, accountants, executives, and BoardAbility to manage multiple datasets across projects and periodsStrong attention to detailExcellent communication skillsAbility to work independentlyRole is in Office 5 days per week (to support operations some early mornings may be required (6:00 am)BenefitsCompetitive Compensation PackageComprehensive drug and dental coverageSalary:$70,000 – $85,000 per yearVacancy Status:This posting is for a current, active position.AI disclosure:We do not use AI tools to review resumes.#J-18808-Ljbffr
