Title: AS400/iSeries Engineer
Location: Toronto, ON/Hybrid
Duration: 24+ Months

We are seeking a skilled skilled to manage the administration, stability, performance, and security of our IBM i (AS/400) infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the high availability of critical business applications and involves close collaboration with various teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Canadian citizenship
- Reliability security clearance
- Experience in IBM i / AS400 system administration
- Proficiency in system configuration, upgrades, and performance monitoring
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:





- Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., PowerHA, MIMIX, iCluster)
- Familiarity with service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Experience in developing CL, RPG, or scripting solutions

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Administer, monitor, and support IBM i (AS/400) systems across various environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-level incidents and performance issues
- Enforce IBM i security best practices and support compliance audits
