Job Summary
As an integral part of the "we can do that" operation, this position is responsible to maintain high profitability of the operation, while supervising and leading aspects of the systems.
Responsibilities
- Establish department objectives and pursue them through planning, organizing, controlling, and measuring performance
- Provide leadership, guidance, and feedback to help staff members strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas
- Develop and implement strategic plans for optimized sales
- Review and improve operational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing departments and employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement
- Monitor the flow of work in the parts department and intervene as required to ensure work is completed
- Work with the Service and Sales departments to maximize cross-marketing opportunities
- Monitor current customer base and recommend strategies to attain more clients and ensure an optimal level of customer satisfaction
- Order parts that meet the cost and quality standards of the automotive parts department, dealership, and vehicle manufacturers; source new suppliers that are cost-effective and have quality parts
- Plan promotions on parts; design various merchandising strategies and monitor inventory of all physical parts and oversee all return processes for parts
- Manage processing and administration of parts back-orders and return-to-vendor items
- Manage inventory levels and inventory cycle counts; leverage the inventory control systems to record and track auto part sales and auto repair work
Experience
Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in vehicle sales and operational management, including:
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience
- Proficiency in working with inventory systems
- Proficiency in both the wholesale and retail sides of the parts business
- robust business acumen
- Valid Driver's License in good standing
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- Strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
- Ability to maintain professionalism
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
- A desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
