- Les Aliments Joe & Ray Ltée is a well-established, third-generation family-owned food importer and distributor serving restaurants, foodservice operators, retailers and other businesses throughout Quebec and Canada.

We are currently looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team.

The position will primarily involve warehouse operations, with occasional local deliveries and supplier pickups when required.

Previous warehouse experience is required for this position.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Picking and preparing customer orders accurately
- Receiving and verifying incoming merchandise
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Organizing and putting away incoming inventory
- Rotating inventory according to proper stock rotation procedures (FIFO)
- Verifying product quantities, weights, lot numbers and dates when required
- Maintaining proper organization of warehouse inventory
- Assisting with physical inventory counts
- Operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Maintaining a clean, organized and safe working environment
- Working in refrigerated and freezer areas when required
- Following proper food-handling and warehouse procedures
- Reporting damaged, missing or incorrect products to management
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as required

Occasional Deliveries & Pickups

The position also includes occasional local customer deliveries and supplier pickups using a company vehicle.

Responsibilities may include:

- Loading the vehicle
- Delivering orders to customers
- Picking up merchandise from suppliers




- Verifying quantities at pickup and delivery
- Obtaining signatures or delivery confirmations
- Representing the company professionally with customers and suppliers

Schedule – Early Morning Start

This position is 4 days per week.

Start time will generally be between 5:30 AM and 6:30 AM, depending on the day's operations.

Applicants must be comfortable with an early-morning schedule and must have reliable transportation to arrive on time.

Punctuality and reliability are extremely important for this position because our warehouse and delivery operations begin early in the morning.

Working Conditions

Applicants must be comfortable:

- Performing physical warehouse work throughout the shift
- Regularly lifting and moving cases of food products
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Working inside refrigerated areas
- Entering and working in freezer areas when required
- Moving between different temperature environments throughout the workday
- Loading and unloading trucks

Required Experience & Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is mandatory.

Candidates should have experience with some or all of the following:

- Warehouse operations
- Order picking and preparation
- Shipping and receiving




- Inventory organization
- FIFO inventory rotation
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Pallet jack operation
- Food distribution or refrigerated warehouse environments

Experience within a food distribution, refrigerated or freezer warehouse is considered a solid asset.

Candidates must also:

- Be dependable and punctual
- Be physically capable of performing warehouse duties
- Be organized and attentive to detail
- Work efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Follow instructions and established procedures
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude
