Position: Full-time Lead Carpenter
Hourly wage: $35.00-$50.00 (based on performance and experience)
Location: Within an hour from Gravenhurst

- Coordinate with project managers according to priorities and plans
- Handling on-site issues and communicate clearly to project managers
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of 5-10 carpenters
- Assign tasks daily and clearly communicate deadlines to the team
- Ensuring work is completed to project specifications
- Maintaining a safe, healthy and clean work environment
- Operating hand/power tools
- Demolitions/renovations/new builds
- Foundations (ICF experience is an asset)
- General and/or finishing carpentry
- Working at heights (siding, roofing etc.)
- Decks, crib and/or floating docks
- Property maintenance

What We Require:

- Minimum 10 year experience in carpentry and leading 5-10 carpenters




- Ability to identify and resolve constructability issues that arise during the day
- Knowledge of safety regulations and local building codes
- Strong teamwork and ability to communicate and motivate a team
- Experience with project estimating and planning in coordination with managers
- In-depth knowledge of blueprints, construction drawings and specifications
- Ability to work/travel independently
- Positive attitude towards co-workers/customers
- Physically able to lift heavy, bend and work on heights
- Valid and CPO-approved Working at Heights certificate
- Valid and current WHMIS certificate
- Valid Ontario driver’s license of the appropriate class for any Company vehicle you will be required to operate
