Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic financial team. In this entry-level role, you will play a vital part in supporting our accounting operations by managing data entry, processing transactions, and assisting with account reconciliation. Responsibilities

- Perform data entry for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions using software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Workday.
- Assist in processing payroll using systems like ADP, Ceridian, Kronos, UltiPro, or PeopleSoft.
- Support account reconciliation efforts by reviewing ledger entries and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of financial documents, invoices, receipts, and transaction logs.
- Help with account analysis to identify trends or issues that require further investigation.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of payments and collections.
- Contribute to bookkeeping activities by organizing financial data and preparing reports as needed.

Qualifications

- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience or familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet applications for data analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Math skills sufficient for account analysis and budget tracking.

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
