General Labour Scarborough, ON

We are currently seeking motivated General Labours to join our team for a large food processing company located in Scarborough, Ontario. This exciting opportunity would suit anyone looking to learn new skills and work in Ontario’s largest industry.

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Shift Times: Days 6am - 3pm or PM 3pm - 11pm

Responsibilities:

- G/L Heavy lifting:

.G/L Lite production

- moving sides of beef up to 50lbs
- Deboxing Raw and Frozen meat products.
- Lifting meat on and off racks and hooks.
- Loading/Unloading Products
- Line work:
- delicate with packaging, small hands, fold sliced meats and package, mostly
- Loading Multivac lines with product
- As a backup, perform Slicer Operator duties as needed.
- Operating Multivac, such as changing films and other related duties.
- Accountable for loading product into slicer.
- Accountable for ensuring all sliced product meets quality standards.
- Accountable for ensuring a safe work environment for co-workers.

Qualifications:
Ability to handle physical workload
Ability to communicate in English and follow directions
Ability to thrive in a rapid-paced environment




Completion of H&S; paperwork prior to starting
