Warehouse Operations
Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $50,000–$60,000 per year
About EZBike Canada
EZBike Canada is a growing electric bike retailer with locations across Ontario and Quebec. We are looking for a hands-on, organized Warehouse Manager to take ownership of our Richmond Hill warehouse operations and help keep our inventory, shipping, receiving, and service workflows running smoothly.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more ownership than they would typically get in a large distribution centre. You will have a direct impact on how our warehouse operates and will work closely with our retail, sales, service, and management teams.
What You'll Do - Warehouse Operations
- Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the Richmond Hill warehouse.
- Coordinate receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory movements.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Ensure incoming inventory is accurately received, inspected, and recorded.
- Coordinate the movement of bikes, batteries, parts, accessories, and other inventory between locations.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify discrepancies, damaged products, or missing items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support regular inventory counts.
- Establish and improve warehouse processes as the business grows.
Shipping & Logistics
- Coordinate daily outbound shipments using carriers such as Loomis, Canpar, Purolator, and Day & Ross.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, labels, and orders.
- Monitor shipments and proactively follow up on delays, damages, or delivery issues.
- Work with our customer service and retail teams to resolve shipping issues efficiently.
- Take ownership of shipping problems from identification through resolution.
- Coordinate transfers and shipments between our warehouse and retail locations.
Inventory & Systems
- Maintain accurate inventory information in Shopify and internal systems.
- Process inventory adjustments and investigate discrepancies.
- Track serial numbers and other relevant product information.
- Help maintain accurate records for warranty, service, returns,
and replacement parts.
- Use shipping and warehouse software to manage day-to-day operations.
Team & Cross-Department Coordination
- Work closely with management, retail, sales, service, and customer experience teams.
- Coordinate priorities when multiple orders, transfers, or warehouse tasks need to be completed.
- Help establish clear procedures and standards for warehouse operations.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.
- Take ownership of warehouse-related issues and follow them through to completion.
What We're Looking ForRequired
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory, distribution, or operations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems.
- Ability to safely lift and move items weighing approximately 25–35 kg repeatedly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
Nice to Have
- Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience.
- Experience working with e-bikes, bicycles, automotive products, powersports, or similar products.
- Experience with Shopify or Shopify POS.
- Experience with ClickShip, Loomis, Canpar, Purolator, Day & Ross, or other shipping platforms.
- Forklift experience or certification.
- Dangerous Goods (DG) certification or experience handling regulated shipments, including lithium-ion batteries.
Don't have your forklift or DG certification yet? That's okay. For the right candidate, EZBike Canada is willing to support and/or cover the cost of required training.
What Makes This Role Different
This isn't a role where you'll be responsible for one small piece of a massive distribution operation.
You'll have the opportunity to own the warehouse operation from end to end — receiving inventory, keeping stock organized, getting orders out the door, coordinating transfers, solving logistics problems, and continuously improving how we operate.
If you're currently working in a large warehouse or distribution centre and want more responsibility, ownership, and visibility into the business, this could be a great next step.
Compensation
$50,000–$60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
EZBike Canada is committed to building a team where people can grow with the company. As our operations expand, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibility and advance within the organization.
Additional Information
- This is an existing vacancy.
- This position requires regular physical activity, including lifting and moving products weighing approximately 25–60 kg.
- The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a warehouse workplace and following all applicable safety procedures.
