Ceramic Art Instructor – Off-Site Classes

Artree Studio is looking for a creative, reliable, and enthusiastic Ceramic Art Instructor to teach our regular adult classes and workshops at off-site locations across Richmond, Vancouver, and Burnaby.

The Role

You will guide students through Artree’s structured Ceramic Art curriculum, including:

* Drawing and sketching

* Composition and design

* Colour theory

* Brush techniques

* Pottery painting

* Watercolour-style ceramic painting

* Underglaze techniques

* Basic glazing knowledge

* Individual ceramic projects

Our regular program guides students through the complete creative process:

Sketch → Colour → Painting → Glazing → Finished Ceramic Art

Qualifications

You may be a outstanding fit if you have experience in one or more of the following:

* Drawing or illustration

* Painting or watercolour

* Pottery painting or ceramic art

* Art instruction

* Working with adults or teenagers

Ceramic wheel-throwing experience is not required. Training and Artree curriculum materials will be provided.

Work Format

* Part-time / Contract





* Off-site teaching position

* Locations in Richmond, Vancouver, and Burnaby

* Classes may be hosted at Artree partner cafés and community venues

* Regular classes are approximately 2 hours

* Weekday and/or weekend opportunities available

Applicants must be comfortable travelling to assigned teaching locations.
