Job Summary

Westbound Insulation is looking for motivated and dependable individuals to join our growing team as Fiberglass Insulation Installers.

The work includes installing fiberglass insulation, poly vapour barriers, caulking, and spray foam around windows on construction sites throughout Calgary.

No previous insulation or construction experience is required. We prefer to train our installers ourselves so they learn our methods, quality standards, and safe work practices from the beginning. We are looking for energetic people who are willing to learn, work hard, and grow with the company.

The position will begin with hourly pay. With several large projects coming up and the company continuing to grow, there will be strong opportunities for advancement. In the future, experienced and dependable team members may have the opportunity to become crew leaders, manage their own teams, and take responsibility for their own buildings or projects.

Responsibilities

* Install fiberglass insulation in walls, ceilings, and other required areas
* Install and seal poly vapour barriers
* Apply caulking and spray foam around windows and other openings
* Measure, cut, and properly fit insulation materials
* Follow company installation methods and quality standards
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment




* Follow all site safety procedures and company policies
* Handle materials and equipment safely
* Work efficiently as part of a team
* Be reliable, punctual, and ready to work
* Take direction and be willing to learn recent skills

Experience and Requirements

* No previous insulation or construction experience is required
* Complete training will be provided
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential
* Must be dependable, motivated, and able to work well with others
* Must have valid WHMIS and CSTS certifications
* Must provide your own hard hat, steel-toe work boots, and high-visibility safety vest
* All job-specific tools will be provided by the company
* Must be comfortable performing physical work and working on active construction sites
* Reliable transportation to different job sites in Calgary is an asset

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
