We are currently looking for a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team in a Part-Time Casual Overnight Parking Operations & Customer Service Representative role.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of customer service, call centre/administrative work, mobile parking operations, and working independently overnight.

Position Overview

The Overnight Parking Operations & Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting overnight parking operations across assigned AHS/HSS locations.

Depending on operational requirements, the successful candidate may work from a designated customer service/call centre location or conduct mobile parking operations at assigned sites.

The role requires someone who is comfortable working independently, responding to customer needs, troubleshooting parking issues, monitoring facilities, and completing operational tasks with limited direct supervision.

The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, calm under pressure, comfortable working overnight, and able to make sound decisions while maintaining a strong customer-service approach.

Schedule & Availability

This is a Part-Time Casual position.

The primary operational requirement is for employees who are available to work overnight shifts, including:

- 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
- 12:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.

Schedules may vary based on operational requirements, vacation coverage, sick coverage, special events, and other staffing needs.

Overnight availability is a key requirement for this position.





Training - Approximately two weeks of paid training will be provided before the employee is placed into regular overnight operations.

Training will generally take place during daytime hours and may include a combination of classroom, practical, site-specific, and supervised training.

Once training is successfully completed, the employee will transition into the required overnight schedule.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Call Centre Operations

- Provide professional, courteous, and timely customer service by telephone, email, and in person.
- Respond to customer questions regarding parking, payment, access, equipment, rates, and parking facilities.
- Assist customers with parking equipment and payment-related issues.
- Troubleshoot customer concerns and determine appropriate solutions.
- Escalate issues when required and document customer interactions appropriately.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and work toward timely resolutions.
- Provide clear directions and wayfinding assistance to patients, visitors, staff, and other parking patrons.
- Complete administrative tasks, data entry, reports, correspondence, and other documentation.
- Monitor and respond to operational calls and communications during overnight hours.
- Maintain accurate records and follow established processes and procedures.

Overnight Parking Operations

- Conduct mobile patrols of assigned parking facilities as required.
- Monitor parking areas and identify operational, safety, security, or maintenance concerns.
- Assist customers with parking technology, payment equipment, wayfinding, and general parking inquiries.
- Conduct parking compliance activities in accordance with AHS/HSS and Precise ParkLink procedures.
- Issue parking notices where required and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Inspect parking facilities, signage, equipment, and pay stations.
- Identify and report equipment failures, hazards, damage, lighting concerns, or other site issues.




- Complete required operational and incident reports.
- Assist with traffic control and parking operations when required.
- Support special events and increased operational activity when required.
- Maintain communication with supervisors and other team members throughout the shift.
- Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly when assigned to mobile duties.

What We're Looking For

- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Call centre, security, parking, healthcare, hospitality, or operations experience is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Comfortable using computers and learning current software and parking technology.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Comfortable working overnight hours.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and written instructions.
- A positive and collaborative approach to working with customers and coworkers.

Driver & Operational Requirements - Successful candidates will be required to provide or complete:

- Explicit Criminal History Check.
- Clear 5-year Driver's Abstract dated within 30 days.
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Proof of Canadian residency or authorization to work in Canada.
