School: Ecole Christine Morrison Elementary

Position: Classroom Teacher, French Immersion

FTE: 1.0

Grade: 3/4

Status: Temporary

Start Date: September 8, 2026 to June 30, 2027 or until the return of the incumbent

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Education and/or PDP
- A valid BC teaching certificate
- Recent successful experience teaching at the Primary and/or Intermediate levels
- Has a minimum B2 level DELF communication skills in French or has successfully passed the district’s French qualifications exam
- Is bilingual and able to communicate in written and oral form in French and English both with the students and parents

General Duties:

Provision of instruction as required

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $61, 502-$112,806, with placement on the range based on length of service, FTE and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
