The Niagara Centre for Healing and Recovery is a growing psychotherapy practice dedicated to providing high-quality, depth-oriented treatment for individuals impacted by complex trauma, attachment wounds, betrayal trauma, and sexual addiction/recovery.

We are seeking a long-term, values-aligned clinician who is passionate about working with complex clinical presentations and who desires ongoing growth, consultation, and eventual opportunities in group or intensive work.

This position is ideal for a clinician who is not looking for a short-term placement, but rather a professional home where their clinical skills, integrity, and specialization can deepen over time.

About the Work

The successful candidate will provide in-person and virtual psychotherapy to adults presenting with:

- Complex developmental and relational trauma
- Betrayal trauma and attachment injuries
- Sexual addiction and compulsive sexual behaviors
- Recovery from problematic sexual behaviors and relational harm
- Nervous system dysregulation and dissociation

Our clinical approach is rooted in trauma-informed, attachment-based care, with particular emphasis on:

- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Sexual addiction and betrayal trauma recovery models

Training Investment (Provided by the Practice)

We are deeply committed to clinician development and will financially support advanced training for the right long-term candidate, including:

- EMDR Training through Be The Change Global Wellness

AND

- Module One of IITAP’s Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT) training through the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP)
- Other training reimbursements approved on a case by case basis (including but not limited to 50% of IFS Level One)

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a clinician who:

- Is a Registered Psychotherapist in either the CRPO or OCSWSSW in good standing
- Has a solid interest in or experience with complex trauma and sexual recovery
- Values ongoing consultation, humility, and clinical growth
- Is open to working within IFS and/or EMDR frameworks
- Desires a long-term role within a growing specialty practice
- Is interested in eventually contributing to group therapy or intensives
- Practices with integrity, emotional maturity, and ethical clarity





This role is best suited for someone who genuinely wants to be in ongoing clinical conversation, not practicing in isolation.

Minimum Requirements

- Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work
- Strong interest in working with Complex Trauma and Sexual Recovery
- Proven experience providing therapy to adults using evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, EFT, ACT)
- Minimum 2 years of psychotherapy experience in a clinical setting
- Registration with OCSWSSW or CRPO
- Professional Liability Insurance
