Staff Plus is hiring an experienced Press Operator for a manufacturing facility in Burlington, ON. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on machine operating experience who is comfortable with machine setup, adjustments, quality checks, and basic troubleshooting.

Candidates with previous CNC machine or stamping press experience are strongly preferred.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday to Thursday

Available Shifts:

- Day Shift: 6:00am - 4:00pm
- Afternoon: 4:00pm - 2:00am

What You'll Do:

- Set up and operate press and production machinery according to production requirements and specifications.
- Load materials into machines and ensure proper positioning and alignment.
- Adjust machine settings including speed, pressure, and alignment to maintain proper operation.
- Monitor machine performance and production output throughout the shift.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Make machine adjustments when quality or production issues are identified.
- Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and complete basic machine adjustments or repairs.
- Use manufacturing tools and equipment safely and correctly.
- Record production quantities, machine settings, downtime, defects,



and other required production information.
- Follow all workplace safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Assist with other production duties as required.

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of experience operating manufacturing machinery.
- Previous manufacturing experience is required.
- Previous experience operating CNC machines, stamping presses, or similar production equipment is strongly preferred.
- Experience with machine setup, adjustments, and production monitoring.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable using hand tools and other manufacturing tools.
- Able to perform quality checks and identify production defects.
- Able to lift up to 55 lb independently.
- Able to stand and work on your feet for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
- Reliable and able to consistently work the selected Monday-to-Thursday schedule.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada and available for full-time hours.
