As a Relief Registered Nurse (RN), Pediatrics, you will provide safe, high-quality, and culturally respectful nursing care to pediatric patients and their families in a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment.

Reporting to the Manager, Maternal Child Services,



you will work alongside an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

In this diverse and rewarding role, you will:
¿ Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pediatric patients and their families.
¿ Provide care to a variety of patients, including pediatric, youth psychiatry, and adult medical or surgical patients, ranging from stable to critically ill.
¿ Deliver patient and family education, support, and advocacy throughout the care journey.
¿ Collaborate closely with physicians, allied health professionals, and community partners to coordinate care.
¿ Exercise strong clinical judgment and critical thinking in a fast-paced workplace.

Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:

- A Nursing Degree with at least one (1) year of experience. Recent experience on a Pediatrics unit would be considered an asset.
