Lucan Diagnostic Imaging is a small business in Lucan, ON. Lucan Diagnostic Imaging Clinic strives to be QUALIFIED, FAST AND RELIABLE, and we expect this of our employees. Our goal is to offer the highest quality of Diagnostic Imaging Services to our patients. We have been serving the London-Middlesex/Huron-Perth and surrounding areas for over 10 years.

We are looking for a professional, punctual and polite X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will:

- Have a strong understanding of radiographic imaging techniques and be able to operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently AND part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide compassion and respect for the patient, family and support persons in the provision imaging services.

- English language proficiency and excellent communication skills required.

*Recent graduates are considered as well.

As a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT),



you will perform a variety of standard technical radiological imaging examinations on patients for the purpose of disease and pathology diagnosis.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Interpret physician requisitions and produce high quality diagnostic images for Physician/Radiologist review.
- Obtain the required views according to organizational protocol.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for radiologic exams - all while ensuring a high level of patient care and safety; making sure that all safety protocols are followed.
- Ensure complete patient history is obtained for proper interpretation of the case.

You will also be responsible for some administrative duties such as:

- Scanning/Uploading Requisition papers and signing off on your exams.
- Cleaning/tidying the x-ray room when not busy.

REQUIREMENTS/CERTIFICATIONS:

- MUST have graduated from a Medical Radiation Technology Program in Ontario
- Registration with the CMRITO and CAMRT
- Liability Insurance is a requirement
