B-Pressure Welder – Full-Time or Contractor

We’re looking for an experienced B-Pressure Welder to join our team in Calgary. We have a steady workload of pressure piping, stainless fabrication, and general welding and fabrication work and are looking for someone who can come in and contribute right away.

Most of our work is in and around Calgary, either in our SE Calgary fabrication shop or at local customer facilities. We do take on the occasional out-of-town project, but travel is not the primary focus of the position.

What we’re looking for:

- Current Alberta B-Pressure Welder Certificate
- Strong pressure pipe welding and fabrication experience
- Experience with GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW
- Experience welding stainless and carbon steel
- Ability to fit and fabricate piping is a strong asset
- Experience working to ASME B31.1 and B31.3
- Good understanding of WPS requirements, fit-up, purge practices, and weld quality
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small crew
- Additional structural, fabrication, millwright, or general welding skills are always an asset

We’re a smaller company and do a pretty wide variety of work, so we value people who are versatile. If you have additional skills or experience outside of pipe welding,



there’s a valuable chance we can put them to use.

We’re open to either a full-time employee or an independent/rig welder contractor, depending on the right person and their availability. We’re also open to more casual arrangements for experienced B-Pressure welders who already have other commitments but are interested in picking up additional shop, evening, or weekend work.

We have a steady workload of upcoming work, and we’re looking for the right person rather than simply filling a seat.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and whether you’re coming on as an employee or contractor.

Pay: $45.50-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
