We are seeking a talented individual for the role of Senior Network Engineer. This is a full-time position. Candidates must live in the service area and report to the Bellevue office or other locations as needed to perform job duties. This role reports to the Director of Networking & Security Practice

You will be working on a team of highly skilled Solutions Architects and Delivery Engineers across a wide range of disciplines, representing solutions from Cisco, HPE Networking (Juniper & Aruba), Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, and more. Your role is to ensure that industry best practices and methodologies are applied to the deployment, integration, and operational support of our customer environments.

Work schedule is typically Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm with travel up to 30% of the time during weekdays. Occasional weekend work may be required.

Duties/Responsibilities

- Design, implement, configure, migrate, troubleshoot, and support enterprise networking solutions for customers across a variety of industries and environments.
- Build and maintain a deep technical understanding of enterprise networking technologies, including routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, network security, SASE, and related technologies.
- Serve as a technical delivery resource on complex customer projects involving multiple technologies, vendors, locations, and engineering disciplines.
- Implement solutions in accordance with approved designs, Statements of Work (SOWs), technical requirements, vendor best practices, and customer standards.
- Perform network migrations, upgrades, refreshes, and new deployments while minimizing customer downtime and business disruption.




- Work onsite and remotely to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to network availability, connectivity, performance, security, resiliency, and overall functionality.
- Develop implementation plans, migration plans, test plans, rollback plans, network diagrams, configuration documentation, and as-built documentation.
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Project Managers, Delivery Engineers, OEM/vendor resources, and customer technical teams to successfully deliver projects.
- Participate in vendor and technical training to maintain and expand technical expertise and support RSI’s strategic vendor relationships and partner requirements.
- Meet with customers, OEMs and RSI team members in-office, onsite and remotely as required to perform job duties effectively
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

- 7+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise network technologies and solutions.
- Cisco CCIE certification strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise networking concepts, including TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, spanning tree, routing protocols, redundancy/high availability, QoS, multicast, VPN technologies, and network security fundamentals.
- Strong hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting enterprise routing, switching, wireless, and WAN/SD-WAN solutions.
- Experience with technologies from one or more leading networking vendors such as Cisco/Meraki, HPE Aruba Networking, HPE Juniper Networking/Mist, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet. Experience across multiple vendors is preferred.
- Experience designing, deploying, and/or supporting complex enterprise network architectures in campus, branch, WAN, wireless, and data center environments.
- Experience with modern network architectures and technologies such as SD-WAN, network fabrics, cloud-managed networking,



SASE/SSE, and network automation is preferred.
- Network security solution design and deployment experience is highly desirable, including firewalls, VPN, segmentation, network access control, and secure remote access.
- Experience with Network Automation, API’s, Python, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code, or AI assisted network operations is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to establish trusted relationships with customer technical teams.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with engineering, sales, project management, vendor, and customer teams.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and accountable for assigned project responsibilities and deliverables.
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and technical tasks in a fast-paced professional services setting.
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
- Ability and willingness to perform occasional evening and weekend work for scheduled implementations, migrations, and maintenance windows.
- Candidate must have a valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance

Compensation/Benefits

Compensation DOE

Salary range of $180K- $200K

This position is also eligible for a quarterly performance bonus.
