Summary

The Crew Member is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of residential properties as part of one of our maintenance crews in Etobicoke and surrounding areas. This role involves safely operating equipment and vehicles, maintaining high-quality workmanship, and contributing to an efficient, professional work environment.

This is a full-time, season-long position with opportunities for snow removal work during the winter months.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform general grounds maintenance including:
- Lawn mowing
- Trimming and pruning
- Leaf cleanup
- Property cleanups
- Assist with snow removal services during winter months (shoveling, salting, snow blowing)




- Operate equipment and vehicles as directed by a supervisor
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to management
- Clean and maintain equipment and vehicles as instructed
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Assist with supervising crew members as required

Experience and Requirements

- Previous lawn care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience required
- Ability to safely use power equipment such as:
- Lawn mowers
- Trimmers
- Hedge trimmers
- Blowers
- Valid G-Class driver’s license (required)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of landscaping, including mulch, soil, plant care, and tree care, is an asset
- Must be reliable, punctual, and qualified

Job Types: Full-time, Part time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
