Job Description:
Robin & Co. CPA is looking for an experienced Accounting Technician to join our team. The Accounting Technician will perform a variety of accounting, financial, and clerical duties. Our office has a four-day work week. This position is responsible for assisting in daily functions of an accounting office. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
To include but not limited to:
- Provide full cycle accounting services to our clients
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards to ensure that transactions are being recorded accurately
- File preparation for Compilation Engagement and T2 returns.
- Preparation of T1 returns, T3 returns, and GST returns.
- Preparation of T4s and T5s.
- Assist in month-end close procedures including reconciliation of general ledger accounts, sales tax filings, payroll taxes, and bank deposits
- Other duties as assigned by management
Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years of related experience in accounting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CaseWare, Profile and Excel.

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
