We are seeking a agile and detail-oriented Hotel Accountant with F&B; experience to join our hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the financial operations of the F&B; accounting , ensuring accurate accounting practices, compliance with regulatory standards, daily reconciliation, inventory control and seamless financial management. Your expertise will support our commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences by maintaining robust financial controls and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. Duties

- Manage all aspects of hotel financial accounting, including general ledger maintenance, inventory control, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations using accounting software such as Sage,. Prepare and interpret financial statements, reports, and analysis to support management decision-making and strategic planning
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations and labor laws
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Ensure adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory standards relevant to hospitality and non-profit sectors
- Monitor cash flow, perform forecasting, and assist with budgeting processes to optimize financial performance




- Support internal audits and coordinate external auditing activities while maintaining thorough documentation for regulatory reporting
- Collaborate with F&B; management to track revenue streams, control costs, and implement effective financial controls within food & beverage operations
- Manage Payroll and inventory control both liquor and food

Requirements

- Proven experience in hotel or hospitality accounting with a strong background in F&B; finance operations
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or similar platforms; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential
- Knowledge of GAAP, accrual accounting, double entry bookkeeping, and financial concepts including debits & credits
- Familiarity with regulatory standards.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, cash flow analysis, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation processes
- Experience with tax preparation and regulatory reporting requirements within the hospitality industry or non-profit sector
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately
- Demonstrated ability to mentor team members while managing multiple priorities effectively

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
