Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled South Indian Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of traditional South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, rasam, and other regional specialties with authenticity and consistency
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
- Manage food handling procedures to maintain hygiene and safety regulations in compliance with health standards
- Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on cooking techniques and food safety practices
- Coordinate with the restaurant management team to ensure timely service and quality control
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients, monitor stock freshness,



and communicate supply needs effectively
- Lead food service operations during busy hours while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through quality food delivery

Experience

- Proven experience in South Indian cuisine preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Supervising experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is highly desirable
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety protocols
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team efficiently
- Knowledge of restaurant management principles and hospitality standards
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
- Previous restaurant experience showcasing proficiency in serving diverse customer needs
