Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a robust understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.
- Prepare Corporate and Personal Tax Returns using CANTAX software
- Prepare Payroll and payroll tax calculations and issue T4 slips
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Conduct account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary documentation.
- Maintain organized financial filing systems for easy access and retrieval of information.

Skills

- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks




- Proficiency in Tax software including Cantax
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and account management.
- Experience with account reconciliation and bank reconciliation practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
