Apprentice Vibroseis mechanic : to travel with crews for the Fall/Winter/Spring/season Canada

This position is remote, working within the elements of the SK, AB winters.

An apprentice Vibrioses mechanic assists senior technicians in maintain, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy seismic vibrators trucks and off-road buggies used in geophysical oil and gas exploration.

Duties:
- Assist Vibe mechanic in performing repairs and maintenance on equipment
- Clean and organize work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
- Retrieve tools, parts, and equipment as needed for Vibe tech
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing oil, replacing filters, and checking fluid levels, Hydraulics.
- Assist with diagnosing mechanical issues and troubleshooting problems
- Follow instructions from mechanics and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a mechanic shop or similar workplace is preferred
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components




- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects

Note: This position may require standing for long periods of time, bending, stooping, and lifting heavy objects. The mechanic helper will work under the supervision of experienced mechanics to gain hands-on experience in the field.
