Mechanic/Millwright

Location: Lloydminster

MANTL is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Lloydminster team. We’re open to candidates with a background as a Mechanic, Millwright, Apprentice, or someone who is simply mechanically inclined with solid hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience.

This position will support the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of equipment and machinery throughout our Lloydminster operations.

What You'll Do

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair compressors, injectors, lathes, and a variety of heavy-duty and light machinery.
- Perform machine troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and preventative maintenance.
- Establish and complete scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) programs across multiple machines.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records to support quality and compliance requirements.
- Conduct equipment inspections, system diagnostics, and component replacement as required.
- Dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and recommended standards.
- Identify mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Perform light welding and fabrication as required.
- Assist with equipment installation, setup, and general maintenance throughout the facility.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.




- Work with operations and other team members to minimize equipment downtime and keep machinery operating safely and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

- Journeyman or Apprentice Mechanic, Millwright, or equivalent mechanical experience is an asset, but not required.
- Mechanically inclined individuals with relevant hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial, automotive, heavy-duty, or production equipment.
- Robust mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs is an asset.
- Basic welding experience is an asset.
- Ability to read and follow manufacturer specifications, manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
- Valid driver's licence.
