The Opportunity

Food World Plus is looking for an experienced Baker to join our grocery store team. The ideal candidate has previous bakery or grocery store experience and takes pride in preparing fresh, high-quality baked products.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other bakery products.

- Follow recipes, production standards, and food safety procedures.

- Prepare dough, fillings, toppings, and other ingredients.

- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality.

- Decorate and package bakery products as required.

- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas and equipment.

- Stock and maintain attractive bakery displays.

- Monitor inventory and minimize product waste.

- Check freshness and quality of ingredients and finished products.

- Assist customers with bakery selections and special orders.

- Follow health, safety, and sanitation requirements.

- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning,



and other bakery duties.

Qualifications

- Previous bakery or grocery store baking experience required.

- Experience preparing breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.

- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation.

- Good attention to detail and product presentation.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

- Able to stand for extended periods and lift bakery supplies.

- Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
