Part Time Temporary Educational Assistant

St. Peter the Apostle Catholic High School is a Grade 9 to 12 School

Evergreen Catholic Separate School Division is seeking an experienced Educational Assistant for a temporary part-time contract for the 2026-27 school year.

St. Peter the Apostle Catholic High Schol serves just over 1100 students in Spruce Grove, AB. Educational Assistants provide support to students with diverse academic and social/ emotional needs. Passion to help students reach their full potential, strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required.

The position is to begin as soon as possible and end June 30, 2027 of the 2026-2027 school year.

Salary range $20.74 - $29.32 per hour as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.





The following qualifications will be assets to applicants:

- Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices
- Experience working with students with diverse needs
- Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training
- Mental Health First Aid or equivalent
- Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate and experience with Speech/Language Assistance are assets
