LTO & Material Handler – Forklift Operator

Fuze HR Solutions is currently hiring experienced Material Handlers / Forklift Operators for a full-time opportunity with a well-established manufacturing and packaging company in Brampton, Ontario.

We are currently looking for 1 candidate for the Day Shift and 1 candidate for the Afternoon Shift.

Position: LTO & Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Location: Airport Road area, Brampton, ON
Pay Rate: $21.70/hour

Available Shifts

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Candidates must be flexible with their start and end times based on operational requirements.

Although the regular scheduled shifts are:

Job Overview

This position is ideal for an experienced forklift operator who enjoys a hands-on warehouse environment and is comfortable supporting multiple areas of the operation.

The successful candidate will operate Counterbalance, Reach Truck, and Dock Stocker equipment, while also assisting the warehouse, shipping, and production teams when forklift work is limited.

This is NOT a forklift-only position.

All successful candidates are expected to assist with general labour and production duties when required, regardless of whether forklift work is available. The hourly rate remains $21.70/hour while performing forklift, warehouse, shipping, or production-related duties.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate Counterbalance, Reach Truck, and Dock Stocker forklifts

*
Load, unload, move, stage, and organize materials throughout the facility

*
Perform inventory put-away and replenishment

*
Move raw materials, finished products, packaging materials,



and other warehouse items

*
Support shipping and receiving operations as required

*
Assist with order picking and material handling activities

*
Prepare and stage materials for production

*
Assist production teams when forklift work is limited

*
Perform general labour duties on the production floor

*
Assist with packaging, sorting, labelling, and other production-related tasks

*
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

*
Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures

*
Complete required documentation and follow workplace procedures

*
Work effectively with warehouse, shipping, and production teams

*
Be flexible to support different departments and operational requirements

*
Perform other warehouse or production duties as assigned

Requirements

Valid and current forklift certification/experience operating:

*
Counterbalance

*
Reach Truck

*
Dock Stocker

*
Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operating experience

*
Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or production environment

*
Strong material-handling and warehouse experience

*
Comfortable performing general labour and production duties

*
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs

*
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods

*




Strong attention to safety and workplace procedures

*
Reliable and punctual with robust attendance

*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

*
Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment

*
Must be adaptable with start and finish times when operationally required

*
Must be willing to start earlier or stay later when required to complete operational requirements

Must be able to successfully complete the required onboarding process

*
Must be able to pass a clear background check
