Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organization with a strong community presence and a meaningful mission. They are seeking a Controller & Director, Corporate Services to join their Senior Leadership Team and serve as a key strategic advisor to the CEO. This is a broad leadership role that extends beyond traditional finance, with oversight across financial stewardship, corporate services, risk management, technology, facilities and organizational planning.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Controller & Director, Corporate Services will provide strategic and operational leadership across the organization's financial and corporate functions.
- Manager two direct reports and lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial strategy
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, month-end/year-end close and annual audit
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, Board and Finance Committee
- Oversee enterprise risk management, insurance, compliance and internal controls
- Provide strategic oversight of IT, data governance, procurement,



administrative systems and facilities
- Support capital projects, organizational growth and long-term sustainability initiatives
- Drive process improvements, technology initiatives and data-informed decision making

What We're Looking For

- CPA designation required
- 7+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience
- A preference will be placed on those with NPO or charitable accounting experience
- Solid experience across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and internal controls
- Experience supporting executive leadership, Boards and/or Finance Committees
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate financial information into actionable recommendations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI and systems experience considered an asset
