Senior Caregiver – Toronto

We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and reliable Senior Caregiver to provide personal care and assistance to a senior in Toronto.

Responsibilities

- Provide early morning visits and assistance with the senior’s daily routine.
- Assist the senior with safely standing and getting up in the event of a fall.
- Provide assistance with daily showers and personal hygiene.
- Help with mobility, transfers, and general day-to-day care as needed.
- Be available for overnight stays/sleeps on some days, as required.
- Provide companionship and ensure the senior’s comfort and safety.
- Communicate with the family regarding the senior’s daily needs and any concerns.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience working as a caregiver for seniors.
- Must be physically solid and capable of safely assisting a senior with standing and transfers.
- Experience assisting seniors with mobility or fall recovery is strongly preferred.




- Arabic-speaking is required.
- Tigrinya-speaking is an asset.
- Must be dependable, patient, compassionate, and attentive.
- Must be flexible and willing to work overnight shifts/sleeps when needed.
- Previous experience with personal care, including showers and hygiene assistance, is required.

Schedule

The position requires early morning visits, with some overnight stays/sleeps depending on the senior’s needs. Flexibility with scheduling is important.
