Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will assist with medication dispensing, inventory management, and patient interactions, ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. Prior experience in hospital or pharmacy settings is preferred, along with a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration processes. Duties

- Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing
- Manage inventory, including stocking shelves and tracking medication supplies
- Provide courteous and skilled assistance to patients regarding over-the-counter products and prescriptions
- Maintain accurate records of medication transactions and patient information
- Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks such as data entry and filing




- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper storage of medications
- Help facilitate patient care by answering questions and providing guidance under supervision
- Assist with medication reconciliation and documentation as needed

Qualifications

- Knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care
- Experience in medication administration or related healthcare functions is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Certification or training as a pharmacy technician is preferred but not required
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards

Pay: From $17.95 per hour
