We are looking for an organized and experienced Maintenance Coordinator to support the maintenance operations of our semi-truck and trailer fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily truck and trailer maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Schedule preventive maintenance and ensure services are completed on time.
- Communicate with drivers, technicians, vendors, and maintenance shops.
- Monitor breakdowns and coordinate roadside repairs to minimize downtime.
- Track work orders, repair costs, parts, and maintenance records.
- Follow up on outstanding repairs and ensure equipment is returned to service promptly.
- Monitor DOT/NSC and other required inspections and compliance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records in the company system.
- Identify recurring mechanical issues and recommend solutions.
- Assist the Shop Foreman and Maintenance Manager with daily operations.
- Coordinate trailer repairs, tires, brakes, suspension, electrical, and other components.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in fleet maintenance coordination or transportation maintenance.
- Solid knowledge of semi-trucks, trailers, diesel engines, and major vehicle systems.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance and repair processes.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple breakdowns and maintenance requests.
- Experience with TMW or other fleet maintenance software is an asset.
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
