We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Sanitation Team Member to join our team in Richmond, BC.

Responsibilities:

- Engage in cleaning and sanitation of all production and non-production areas
- Includes: walls, floors, conveyors, machines, all areas located in the production plant
- Utilizing chemicals to sanitize all cleaning equipment, PPE and utensils used in production operations
- Follow all food safety and quality policies mandated by Sun Rich Foods Canada (HAACP, SQF, etc)
- Perform miscellaneous deep cleaning/disinfecting activities as outlined by the Sanitation Team Lead
- Ensure equipment passes pre-operating inspections and re-clean as needed
- Work in a safe manner,



following all safety regulations and WHMIS requirements
- Report any maintenance to repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience:

- Previous experience in the food industry preferred
- Abililty to regularly bend, twist, move, and lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in a cold and wet environment
- Ability to work with cold water and chemicals

Fixed schedule:

- Workdays: Sun, Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri
- Start time: 3:30 PM

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00 per hour
