About the Role

Cornerstone is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to support our database management, dashboard development, reporting processes, and overall data accessibility. This role will help transform organizational data into clear, useful, and actionable insights.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain practical experience in data collection, database management, reporting, outcomes measurement, research, and data visualization within a community mental health setting.

What You Will Do:

- Help improve the accessibility, organization, and usability of organizational data.

- Support the organization’s databases and assist with maintaining data quality and accuracy.

- Assist with developing, updating,



and maintaining dashboards and data visualizations.

- Support the collection and analysis of client and program outcome data.

- Assist with surveys, including developing, administering, and analyzing surveys using SurveyMonkey or similar platforms.

- Prepare clear reports, summaries, and visualizations.

- Collaborate with staff and practitioners to understand reporting needs and communicate findings effectively.

What you will bring to the role:

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree or diploma program in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

- Familiarity with statistical or data analysis software such as SPSS, R, Python, or similar software is an asset.

- An interest in applying data and technology to support mental health and community services

- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office.

- Knowledge or experience working with Microsoft Power BI is an asset.

- Knowledge or experience working with Microsoft Access, database, data visualization, or reporting is an asset.

- Experience with SurveyMonkey or other survey platforms is an asset.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.





- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

- Solid organizational and time-management skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to communicate data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with staff and practitioners.

- Excellent judgment and professionalism when working with confidential information.

- Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
