Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Manager Assistant to support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of an auto parts warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or team supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Warehouse Operations

- Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations
- Coordinate order fulfillment and ensure products are prepared and dispatched accurately and on time
- Monitor daily workflow and help resolve operational issues as they arise
- Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment

Inventory Control

- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of auto parts

Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, storage, picking, and fulfillment processes
- Assist in implementing procedures to improve productivity and inventory accuracy
- Monitor operational performance and recommend practical improvements

Equipment & Warehouse Systems

- Operate and oversee the proper use of forklifts and order pickers
- Ensure warehouse equipment is used safely and maintained appropriately




- Use warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, barcode scanners, and other warehouse technologies

Reporting & Communication

- Prepare and assist with reports related to inventory, warehouse productivity, and operational issues
- Communicate with purchasing, sales, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations
- Escalate inventory or operational concerns to the Warehouse Manager when necessary

Qualifications

- Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, or a related field
- Warehouse supervisory or team-lead experience is an asset
- Experience in the automotive parts industry is an asset
- Experience using inventory management software or WMS is preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift and order picker
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting products when required
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is an asset
- Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- WMS: 1 year (preferred)
- forklift and order picker: 1 year (preferred)
- Warehouse: 3 years (preferred)
