Job Summary

Duties

- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse.
- Manage warehouse distribution tasks including order picking, packing, and fulfillment to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Handle shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation, inspecting goods for quality, and accurately recording transactions in warehouse management systems like AS400.
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of materials while adhering to safety protocols to prevent injuries.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks on machinery.




- Assist with construction or manufacturing-related tasks when required, supporting overall warehouse operations.
- Ensure proper packaging of products for shipment, maintaining quality standards and minimizing damage during transit.

Skills

- Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, or other heavy equipment in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including order fulfillment, load & unload procedures, and shipping & receiving protocols.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate heavy machinery safely and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms for inventory control.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards.
- Experience with order picking, packaging, and using equipment like order pickers or conveyor systems.
- Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus for supporting diverse operational needs.

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
