Position Summary

The Heavy Equipment Operator supports the maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation of MobilGrain's railway infrastructure across Saskatchewan. Operators work throughout the maintenance season with the opportunity for year-round employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

· Operate two or more of the following: excavator, dozer, grader, or rock truck.

· Support railway construction, maintenance and rehabilitation projects.

· Haul flat deck trailers and heavy equipment between work sites.

· Complete daily equipment inspections.

· Work safely around active railway operations.

· Travel throughout the Big Sky Rail and Last Mountain Railway network.

Qualifications & Experience





· Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience preferred.

· Experience operating two or more of: excavator, dozer, grader, or rock truck.

· Valid Class 5 Driver's License (required).

· Class 1A Driver's License considered an asset.

· Experience hauling flat deck trailers and heavy equipment.

· GPS grade control, welding and fabrication considered assets.

· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

· Monday to Friday. 10–12 hour shifts.

· Overtime opportunities available based on operational requirements.

· Weekend and on-call work as required based on operational and weather conditions.

· Periodic overnight travel within Saskatchewan as operationally required.

· Company-provided bunkhouse accommodations are provided for required overnight travel.
