We have an exciting contract opportunity for a certified and experienced RPN to be responsible for:

- Setting up the patient's IV's during fluorescein injections as well as injecting the fluorescein under the orders of a physician; observing patient for any possible side effects and provide appropriate care if needed. Also, monitor patient vitals for clinical trials and if any side effects from fluorescein.
- Collect and process specimen (blood, urine, etc.) for clinical trials. Assist with packaging/shipping of specimens.
- Diagnostic testing including visual field, retinal photography, OCT.
- Assist the photographer with data entry e.g. registration of patients, booking appointments etc. and instill eye drops in preparation for photography.
- Manage inventory for treatment room ensure items are fully stocked




- Responsible for the processing of instruments at the beginning and end of each day.

Certification and experience is required for the IV injections; training will be provided for the diagnostic testing. Knowledge of Ophthalmology is considered an asset.

Only those with current license/certification and IV experience will be considered for this position.
